Apparently you missed out on the elementary school trick of getting your friends to say "I am [deleted], we todd did" while holding their tongues.

Why are you being [deleted] dramatic? If he's here, he's here. If he's not, he's not. How freakin' difficult is that?

Not difficult at all. He isnt here.

The news about summer school is what would worry me.

Well if this plays out that McCoy is outta here for good, then that pretty much signals the end for Doherty after the 2009-2010 season.

This roster looks completely like a bunch of non-matching and not very good parts. If you thought 9-19 last season was bad, it's going to look even worse this year. That tournament in Hawaii could expose how really bad this group is.

So if this is right:
* Jared DuBois doesn't want to come after signing
* Paul McCoy appears not to want to come back
* Chris Clarke signs but is run off to a prep/juco school
* The 6-10 kid from Va (Francis) meets the same fate as Clarke did.
* Alex Malone is run off (actually a good move bc he played no D)

(Who am I missing?)

This program is run amuck in instability and lack of vision and leadership. And so much for Doherty claiming that through these classes he took at Wharton in Philadelphia that it helped him calm down and be a better person/coach. Boy, that was a bunch of PR BS.

The sooner Doherty is outta here the better. It has been an absolute disaster with him running things.

You are missing Cameron Spencer and Bennie Rhodes.

Personally I have no problems with ANY of these players leaving...sans of course Paul McCoy.

The bigger issue to me is Coach Doh’s 7 freshman roll of the dice (so far a disaster), his game-day coaching and this most recent ABYSMAL recruiting class.

If McCoy leaves, and I hope he doesn’t, the only silver lining I see is it will hasten Doh’s exit.

I also think your Wharton comment is funny.

To FriscoPMG, thanks (I guess  ) for posting.

To Frisco, Oregon25 and XtC…any ideas as to WHY McCoy wants to leave?

McCoy is obviously one of our top players, but I don't understand why Doherty would not release him if he doesn't want to be here. I'm interested, just as everyone else is, in why he may not want to return, but when all is said and done I prefer a roster of guys who want to be here.

Can anyone confirm that McCoy isn't at summer school, and if so, why he isn't here?

what is the source for these "Facts"

maybe someone who knows?

Oregon25 posted it

McCoy's from Oregon.

Or maybe it's not that obvious?

Ok, sorry for the merry go round of info, but my source now says they apparently convinced McCoy to stay. However, I would defer to X's info as he is probably more in the loop right now.

So do we trust your source now at "convinced to stay" or "0% chance of coming back". So either way they are still a reliable source. yipee!!!
