It's the moderators of this wonderful site that drive off great fans like me. Why they delete any and every post that veers a paragraph off football I will never understand. Sure its a football message board... but like the other fan sites, football and babes go hand in hand.

Usually we only kill a thread if it crosses one of the following lines:
pornography, sexism, racism, habitual and excessive use of foul language, personal attacks against a student-athlete, or if incorrect, libelous information is posted. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, because everyone agreed to the Board guidelines when they created their accounts.

With respect to BoazHoes' specific concern, we're opposed to censorship in any form, so if a thread got nuked, it was probably for a good reason. Consider this: If our moderators are doing their jobs, offensive material get pulled BEFORE it offends everyone. Therefore, just because it's not readily apparent why a thread was deleted, doesn't mean there wasn't a reason.

The only criticism I have of our moderators is that sometimes they fry an entire thread when when pruning a few posts would suffice. However, in our defense, pruning individual posts can can get time consuming (especially when we're at work, late for an appointment, etc.). But occasionally something is posted that's so offensive, it all just needs to go away.

(i.e. Mike Caven) That is why the "old schoolers" don't come around much anymore. The new breed of PonyFans that just learned what a message board is and have 2000+ post in less than 3 years have no clue what Mustang Maniacs is and the rival that took place earlier in the decade... back when post weren't deleted for fear of offeneding a players parent. I could understand deleting threads if we are being governed by the University but you need to take a page out of the HornFans and be a bit more selective with what stays and goes.
