If anyone has a picture of Shawnbrey putting the football with the pylon after his 4th quarter touchdown, can you please post it. I want to get that thing framed

Ochocinco did it about 2 or 3 years ago. But it was still funny.

Two of the best RB's in the NFL are "tiny". Maurice Jones Drew and Ray Rice. Shawnbrey McNeal is very similar to these guys in size AND his ability as a reciever. I'll guarantee you that scouts are drooling over this guy. Hope he stays.

you know whats ironic... if he stayed at miami he wouldve been a bench warmer, and if he played in any other offense he wouldve only been seen as an undersized RB... but in the RnS hes seen as an undersized RB with great hands and a smooth style... He owes his NFL career to JJ and SMU, and they owe him this great season... so anything he decides the school, program, team, and fans should support him a 100%... plus JJ just threw out a nationally publicized advertisement to top notch players..." if you want to be showcased and get a shot in the NFL come to SMU..." He did it with Timmy Chang, Vince Manuwai, Travis Laboy, Reagan Mauia, Nate Ilaoa, and the list goes on... Now hes doing it with Mcneal and in 3 years Padron... in a year or two mcneal comingto SMU is going to pay off bigtime... what offensive player would not want to play in the RnS...

I think he compares more favorably to probably the best running back in the NFL this year, Chris Johsnon. MJD and Ray Rice are built more bowling ball like, where as CJ is undersized but lightning quick (had the fastest ever combine 40 time at 4.2 something). Shawnbrey doesn't have sub 4.3 speed, but he is lightning quick. Plus, it helps that he has a lot of experience catching out of the backfield which has become a staple in the pro game.
I still hope he stays. In my opinion, one more year with similar numbers and a team will take a chance on him in rounds 2-4. I believe his best shot this year is as an undrafted free agent, but I'm not a scout.
JJ has said time and again that if there is one thing he accomplishes at SMU, it will be graduating Shawnbrey, so you never know how much his influence will have on McNeal.

With what SMU has done, with what McNeal has done. Now would not be a good time to leave. The $ will be better after next year.
What would help him and SMU is to get those stands filled. You have some pretty smart people at SMU, someone get the stands full.

What's Russ Potts doing these days? That guy was filling up Texas Stadium against the likes of Grambling and UTA. Actually,I think word is gonna get around Dallas that SMU is a power again and Ford Stadium will be full of bandwagoners, which is fine... jump on board! Next years TCU game will be a packed house and I literally cannot wait for that one. If (when) we win that game, I would think we would be ranked, another huge milestone.
