Well if he wasn't already enrolled at Utah State I would say yes.

This is a tough break for us.

well apparently a few Division 1A schools are still recruiting Ryland Widener. BTW his high school Southmoore along with Julian Wilson is the subject of somewhat of a controversy in Oklahoma for recruiting about 7 players to transfer in.

Post says Ark St has offered. I think we could beat them even at this late time.

I say June hops on a plane with Reinebold over to Samoa, finds the biggest 18 yr old kid he can find, and hands him a scholarship. We could be really screwed at DT if we can't find another 1-2 guys before signing day. I have faith in our coaching staff to get through the situation no matter what happens though.

plus everyone knows these guys are absolutely the only Texas Longhorns that committed any crimes...ya know the police catch them all....i know because it has never been reported!

But we do gots-ta update this flow chart with all the additional arrests of Longhorns since 2007!

There are many unanswered questions concerning this case, especially why it took over 3 months to file the charge. The alleged victim was apparently under the care of a doctor or hospital sometime that night for the police to have evidence of the prescription drug she had ingested. I wonder if she claimed sexual assualt that night or if that claim was made later. I am sure there is a lot more to this story. Remember the Duke case.

If she was drugged by a someone was it Pitman or his friend who drugged her, if it was his friend did Pitman know she had been drugged. This has all got to be worked out and proved in a court of law.

Wasn't Pittman playing DE — at least part time, if not full-time — last season? This might not change the landscape at Nose as much as some say.

Either way, I still think Frazier slides inside, Thompson and Hunt start at DE, and Frazier is joined inside by O'Guin (thank god he enrolled early and can get a spring under his belt) and Jimmy Chase.

i am not big on conspiracy theory....but is it a "TOTAL COINCIDENCE" that now two
years in a row a week or two before signing day some controversy hits the newspapers
about SMU?....wasn't it last year right before signing day that the papers were full of stories
about the East Texas kid that June told "no thanks" and the doom and gloomers all predicted
it would really hurt our future recruiting....now this Torlan Pittman story that actually happened
months ago just "happens" to surface about a week away from signing day? i guess it is just
a coincidence but good gosh the timing seems funny.

these "someone drugged me" cases when a girl was simply too drunk to make good decisions are a crock of you know what.
