as for his comment - good for him for showing some spark!
You mean we can't express our opinions on here because some recruit might be swayed to not come to SMU. Maybe if the athletic department is smart they'll have this board taken down.

Actually, I'd never heard of Bennett before he was a candidate for the job. I had heard of Charlie Waters, and maybe he'd be interested if Bennett gets fired (by Copeland, not by me) after NEXT season.

Bennett sounds like a cry baby at a back yard football game. You have to be on my team or I'm takin my ball, and going home.

I posted this another place, but...

The Frogs have left twice from the conference we were in. So screw 'em. SMU needs rivalries WITHIN their conference. We will take someone close by in the conference as our rival and dump TCU. We just increased their travel costs and denied their recruits the opportunity to play another game in texas. Sucks for them. Have fun encouraging recruits to play 0 local road games and games in Utah. There are a lot of good recruits out in New Mexico, have at them ;) . In the meantime, we will recruit the Houston area and east texas with our great contacts and promises to play in Houston once a year, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Sounds to me like cutting TCU off as much as possible is a pretty darn good idea.

The most frustrating thing about TCU's win, is that they did not find a way to win. Instead Louisville found a way to lose. TCU did nothing in the end up give up the big plays.

Guys, TCU is exploring. That's what they should do. My guess is that they will stay because the move isn't really very good for them. I just hope that Bennett didn't make them mad. I don't know how many points I need if they are mad.

I'm not sure I'd worry too much about them being mad. That's the fuel they're running on right now - they're mad at the world for all the slights their program is suffering because they're not ranked No. 1 or No. 2. Eventually that fuel runs out. May not helps us. But it will run out. They've been using it since USC and the Sun Bowl. If Bennett is or will ever be any kind of motivator, the next two games are practice games for the final. There's history there for everyone - including Bennett.

I work among nothing but tcu fans. And believe me they are pretty quiet this morning. I think they've seen the flaws just like everyone else - wondering when a fatal blow is delivered. Again, SMU is most unlikely one to exploit those flaws. But then that's probably good for us.

Didn't Tulane (TCU's conference mate) just have this same problem, 12-0 and limited respect?
