Just to clarify, are you saying TCU and Patterson have June Jones figured out because Hawaii lost, in blowouts, to TCU in '99 & '00 and then the last 2 years here?

If I were talking-up SMU to a recruit 1) $50,000 plus a year college education at a private university in one of the great cities of the world surrounded by a wonderful neighborhood(compared to a $20,000 education at one of the public schools like UT, NT, UTA, TT or A&M. 2) A wonderful coaching staff with guys who have played and coached in the NFL! 3)A university where you are close to home for your family and friends to come watch and share the wonderful experiences with. 4) Easy campus to get around in just a few minutes compared to large public universities with traffic problems. 5) Mavericks, Stars, Rangers and so much to do! 6)Where does the recruit want to live and work after graduation? North Texas area with it's wonderful suburbs or Lubock, Manhattan, Lawrence, Columbia, Stillwater, Norman or Ames.

I would also make sure that Mom and Dad were there to hear all of the above. A visit to the Hilltop by all the influencial family members is one strong selling point. Don't forget the one thing that no other school can offer..an SMU diploma.
