none taken Topper....tongue firmly planted in my (own) cheek in my taking offense, and especially for those teasing Nick17 about being savvy/not savvy to sarcasm.

gotta be careful but clear here...I do not care for Baylor a bit, and would rather see SMU beat them more than any of our historic SWC rivals. I do not personally know Coach Teaff-but I have seen actions that don't match the words...that said, I am chief among the sinners when it comes to letting a moment of anger or angst undo what has taken a lifetime to develop.

I hope that is the case, and the problem is my perception (skewed SMU)...but I can't wrap my mind around the fullness of that play, nor other actions during Baylor's 'renewal' and 'Miracle on the Brazos'.

If memory serves me correctly, I do not recall the Bears throwing one pass in that game until the fake punt. Not sure what that shows or implies, if anything, just my recollection of the game.

That was 1991 when Baylor had JJ Joe.

Thanks for the correction. Would I then be correct in saying they never threw a pass in the 91 game?

No, if I recall, there were about a half a dozen of us there. I don't remember what was put into what paper, and don't really care. I remember what was said, and I remember the looks on the faces of some of those who heard it.

Astounding disrespect for one of the guys who makes this very board possible. I hope there was an apology issued, Stallion.
