I think he established on another thread that he doesn't even go to SMU home games, including the one his name refers to. Sounds like he needs to step up if he wants equal billing.
He doesn't live in Dallas-he goes to a bunch of games because his family sits in my section. I don't think alumni going to 3-4 games a year after traveling 4 hours to get here is our biggest problem.

"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

"On Wisconsin" is a great fight song, as are many other Big Ten schools. I am not anti-Frog; they earned this game. However, I am rooting for the Badgers, who are big in Chicagoland, the Heartland of America! BTW, Madison is a great town too.

Fair enough. I retract my statement and apologize.
I wonder just how long fans, supporters and alumns would have continued to buy into the bs from our administration that our athletic programs were competitive for a small private school. We can hate TCU, but we owe them a big thank you for showing us that the "king had no clothes"!
I am from FW, but I never considered attending TCU. Mainly because they didn't have an engineering school. When they starting winning football games, about 10 years ago, I thought it was an anomaly and they would soon return to their rightful place at the bottom of whatever conference they were in. That's where I was used to seeing them. They have proven me wrong and they are still winning games. That doesn't mean that I pull for them, though.
Well, not to be too self righteous, but I pull for SMU, TCU and Baylor whenever they play one of these arrogant can do no wrong better than everyone state schools. I like all Baylors pointy towers on their campus, SMU's reddish (is that really red?) buildings, and TCU's brown brick look. If my most frequent criticism of another school is what color its buildings are, I know my own team isn't doing very well. But listen, the Holy Trinity of Texas schools (SMU, TCU, BU) need to stick together as best we can. The Bears have lost, the Stangs have lost, and that leaves only the Frogs. And it's a Yankee school they're playing, in addition to being a State school.
Put me on the side of never pulling for TCU or Texas in just about anything. Those are two schools that I am happy to watch lose. Admire the programs and we should absolutely take notes on what TCU has done, but pull for them? That is a stretch.

There should never be any doubt about that. For me, this AQ vs. NON-AQ stuff is irrelevant. This is our freaking rival. That alone, should be enough for us to say to heck with them.
Respect what TCU has done. The program is to be commended for what it has accomplished. It earned the right to be in this game. If they win, then it speaks to how hard their work has paid off.
BUT....it doesn't mean I have to like them.
That's like asking Auburn fans to pull for Alabama, Texas fans to pull for Oklahoma or Michigan fans to pull for Ohio State. It doesn't happen there and it won't happen with me.
