UCF has had a hell of run the last 10 days making a late charge. They have added 6 new 3 star commits jumping them up to 2nd in the conference.

Marshall has 6 three stars too during the last week or so-I've heard Marshall is fighting ECU for 4 star all purpose kid named Chevelle Buie-a little 5-8 waterbug. Took a look at his video and he's pretty smooth-reminded me of Dameris Johnson with incredible change of direction and superior acceleration. No 7 All Purpose Back in the country. Could be a big name in CUSA whoever gets him.

UCF at 50 closing in on SMU at 49. As happened with SMU about a month ago, a bunch of unrated UCF recruits have finally been rated and several became 3 stars.

UCF class looks pretty good. However, they only have 5 offensive players committed.

Houston lost its 7th commitment- 3 star WR Jafus Gaines to Dennis Franchione's Texas State. Previously tentatively committed to Stanford pending admission. But kid has an outstanding GPA (4.08) and has a bunch of quality offers.

What I am looking for is a coach that can get his players in school and qualify to play ball. Commitments and signings are great but just make sure they can play! Coach Doh doesn't quite get it yet...Go Mustangs to a great Wednesday!

Dropped to #50. That's O.K.
Consistent Top-50 talent with June Jones and staff coaching will eventually equate to Top-10 ranking.
by contrast...
Consistent Top-10 talent with Mack Brown and staff coaching will eventually equate to Top-50 ranking.

Latest update has us back on top of C-USA and at #49 overall. UCF is right behind us at #50. I'm sure there will still be a few shake-ups though.
