there was a time when the cowboys had more players in their history from smu than any other college. that probably dropped off when we took a little hiatus from the sport.
The most famous would be Don Merideth, of course. After that man, other than McCann, I'm having a hard time coming up with alot of names other than C Dale Hellestrae and LB Anthony Dickerson. Help me out.

Moss reminds me of AR in so many ways (except he catches everything), and Moss has lost a step. If he listens, learns and does everything he is told to do by the coaches, he has a great chance. He'll probably have Rex Grossman throwing the ball to him. Hopefully Kyle Padron will improve enough that in 2013, he'll be at the top of the Redskins board.

Rex the Wonderdog is a free agent. At the moment, it's the ghost of what once was Donovan McNabb, John Beck and probably a couple of free agent stiffs. The WRs, after Moss, are a complete joke. I watched a few games down here last year, and from what I could tell, half of SMU's WRs could have made that team. What Shanahan was thinking when he knocked the dust off of Joey Galloway and then brought in such luminaries as Roydell Williams (who had been out of football for a year or two), Anthony Armstrong, Brandon Banks and the infinitely forgettable Malcolm Kelly, we'll never know. That group is so bad I would think all three WRs the Skins drafted have to have a shot of making the roster.
