I have always been a big Mike Ford Fan. He's a great guy that is quick witted and fun to be around. I was at those games at Florida, Ohio State, and Penn State (all on one roadtrip). As a Fellow Mesquite Skeeter he took us the the State Championship Game as a SOPHOMORE!
I have seen his accurate passes and determination win so many games for my 2 favorite teams. There are too many exciting fond memories to mention. All those times
have made me so proud of Mike. But 30 years later you make me even prouder!
Mike, what do you want for graduation?!!

Loved the article. While playing football as a youth, I was a lineman/center. Our QB at the time was a hugh osu/art schlichter fan. This game was one of the moments that really highlighted my interest in SMU. Thanks Mike for your memories! Loved hearing about Reggie Dupard too. Boy, was he fun to watch. Go Ponies!
