houston ticket sales go through the roof with a volunteer sales force while SMU stays FLAT!

Can we not figure out how to sell tickets? More fans don't magically appear. Oh wait i forgot... no marketing budget.

More of it is being managed internally by the assistant AD's. Previously, the school's approach was to hand over tickets and busses to DISD and let them handle. Now it is directly working with community organizations, schools, etc. to have a more coordinated effort.

Sorry you all feel that way. I do volunteer fund raising for Cox and the athletic department. We ask everyone. Don't think we're just asking the faithful. I and a lot of other people spend our nights and weekends calling a ridiculous amount of strangers. I'm sure anyone on the morgan campaign can give you plenty of stories from the phone calls when our call sheets list single game ticket purchasers. I spent multiple weeks calling people that were TCU fans, Houston fans, etc. I got cussed at, insulted, trash talked, etc. to raise a few thousand dollars.

I'm not a salesman. I'm a volunteer.

See the thing is I don't do business at SMU and I don't work for them' I don't sit on any boards So I do not have to play politics.

SMU is a hard sell and that's a fact.
I have extra seats I will invite someone new to each game all I can do.

I personally love it, but im not everyone.

Upon hearing I'm in law school with 50K in debt, and just got finished handing them six figures worth of revenue, they promptly ask for a $350 donation. Good times.

I'm talking about selling cheap seats not the MF. $75 for the year you spend that on a tank of gas.

How much did they get? Ha ha

Is anyone ele having issues with PM's? I've been trying to reply to some that I've received, but they are just sitting in my outbox. I tried to pm PonyPride about the issue, but it is just sitting in my outbox.

If I haven't replied to you, I'm not ignoring you, and I'll get you the information as soon as possible.

Pretty sure it shows as sitting in your outbox until they read it.
