Houston fans starting to get concerned on their Scout board

What are the frogs saying on theirs about this? or are they still sobbing in their beers on frog loss and not talking about it?

I would like to think TCU would see this would be good for them.

Why would TCU want us at the same level as them?

If their conference falls out from under them and no Big 12 invite. It would be a better alternative to keep the Big East alive since they are already there.

Oh and I forgot to add, we proved sat we are not at the same level as them, we are better than them.

Big East guys say this Boston writer was the BC beat writer when they were in the Big East and is well connected to Big East offices in Providence

Huge news. B12 not interested? This may wake them up. I'm concerned about being on an island as others have posted but Big East is a marginal step up from C-USA. No current BCS team is going to be left out when the big boys go to 5x14

Don't see anything at all on killerfrogs. I have no idea about their scout page.

This is exactly what I was thinking. If this were to come about, it would eliminate a lot of options the Big 12 had before.

I checked their board a few minutes ago and nothing had popped up about this yet. Surprising because they are usually way ahead of our board on stuff like this.

Besides ND, Navy may be pushing for another member or two that it finds compatible. Navy may never join a league, but if they do, they want some partners like SMU and not just a bunch of USF or Louisville type large public schools. this whole puzzle is about leverage, alliances and pressure points. Forget about 'earning' BCS status. This is gonna turn on a handshake somewhere and who wants what when. If Navy becomes a key piece, then we have significant indirect leverage.

yeah also check out the rosters of all Academies-they are filled with Texans

It just went up on the Frog board.

Its ALL about BCS status.....and the associated $$$. 'Compatible' just means you are dating and you won't get laid.....
