If we get in it looks like we are going to have to find a way to stop the option offense

No joke!! -- speedy linebackers?
Military analogy -- Air attack (SMU) vs Ground attack

AF would be fball only. Probably other service academies too, then.
Think there's still an opening.
Instead of TCU being SMU's BE travel partner, maybe AF is our new travel partner? 1:40ish from DFW to Colorado Springs.

No credible source has indicated SMU met with the Big East this weekend.

Haven't you learned that Lifeson lives in the athletic department? He probably booked Orsini's flight to wherever the meeting took place.

How could you expect less. IIRC you referenced those who said the 'sky was falling'. Oh, I understand, perhaps you just meant SO was falling (or should I say failing).
GO PONIES!!!

This round of realignment is starting to round out. If CUSA loses ECU, UCF, or Houston we better have a damn plan. All of this posturing and pot banging we are doing will look embarrassingly stupid if we are left in a watered down CUSA/Sun Belt.

EJ has seriously backed off that farce.

Who knows, maybe they were told to shut up. Usually when there is a big OOPS!, at least the paying members would get some kind of mea culpa. Maybe we'll get an answer when the work week starts.

Maybe they have been offered an exclusive on the SEC invite in return for cooperation. In the meantime they have been asked to shut the [Gary Patterson] up! It seems a little to quiet on the Rivals board. I would have expected a response by now. One can only dream.

Yeah not to to even approach going near the deep end, but within about twelve hours it did a complete and total 180. Usually, in the real world, when you're providing a service and make an OOPS!, there's some kind of mea culpa, otherwise you risk doing harm to your own business...that's all.
There's the 'ol loose lips sink ships line haha.

I do not think SMU has ever been involved in any SEC scenario. I have listened to the 2 major sports radio stations here and although there has been much speculation as to what will happen with SEC expansion, SMU has never been mentioned in any form or fashion.
