A year ago we were not mentioned in any conference realignment discussions. Now we are being mentioned all over the place. Doesn't mean we end up in a BSC conference but it does show the vast improvement we have made over the last 4 years.
Football at the Hilltop hasn't felt this good in decades.
Couple the discussions with another win and even ore national attention and who knows?

Methinks this is analogous to the June Jones hiring where we had roughly 45 days of silence between the Paul Johnson to GT and the Sugar Bowl. When SMU wants/needs to, it can keep a secret. The benefit of being private, I suppose. Remember the TCU to BE was a better kept secret than TCU to the big XII.
This may be happening. Just my thoughts.

I don't think it's overly depressing to say I think we get left out. Just how I see it plating out. Realistically a lot still needs to happen. I'd guess it's more like 60-40 we stay in CUSA.

I think TT needs to lose his Stallion bashing tag line after this display. One minute we are great, next minute we are screwed. You've flip'd flopped so much you will have been right or wrong about a 1000 times.

Ill say this. If we are in it's the biggest thing to happen to SMU football since the DP.
If we are out with UCF and Houston leaving CUSA it will have wide reaching and very serious negative implications on our future.
Thus the anxiety.
