It makes sense to me. If AF and BSU do not accept the invitation then they may not want to extend one to us as we would be too far west.

It was sent FedEx but somehow got lost at FedEx headquarters in Memphis.

I think at this point the BE would only send out an invite if they knew the response they were going to receive.
