Hoop Fan - You make some extremely valid points. You start making some good points on here and you will come under attack, be called a troll, be accused of being a bitter former employee, and that you don't really understand how restricted Orsini is, and if you did you'd realize how he is such a genius. Understand however that these guys can get really defensive when they receive constructive criticism. 8) 8)

Just post about how [deleted] brilliant Orsini is and what an amazing coach June Jones is and how it really doesn't matter if we have 12,000 people in the stands with a 5-1 record because when we get a 10-1 record and we're in a better conference and the Rangers don't make the playoffs .... blah - blah --blah. :? :? :? :?

This is a fans's forum, so for the most part, their expectations for attendance and relevance for the Mustangs are extremely low. Most of the posts keep reminding us how much better off we are than we have been for the past 25 years, so we should just be happy with what we have. Exactly what Steve O. loves - low expectations. :?:

It is okay because their heart is in the right place. But in order for SMU to truly be better is for us to NOT settle for pathetic crowds and an indifferent athletic administration.

But don't look for reason on this board. Here's a poorly kept secret -- most of the most prominent posters on here are directly connected to SMU Athletics Department, so you're never really going to see much in terms of real dialogue on how to make things better. Just more propaganda about patience and just win and all of a sudden there will be 32,000 fans at Ford and Orsini is the greatest and SMU's goal is to be Top 25 In Everything We Do.

Otter,
I will keep asking. You post like you know orsini personally. Is that the case? Have you presented your ideas to him, and if so did you do so cordially or were you as insulting as you are on here?

I KNEW it. I've been reading posts from Orsini and June all this time and they are brainwashing me into following SMU football. It all makes sense now. Stallion is clearly Padron, mrydel is Zach Line, ModelT is Reinbold.

I do not know how he found out about me. I try to hide my identity by living in Sherwood, AR, and commuting to SMU daily.

Yes it's a big conspiracy and we should insist that from now on only shots of the west stands be shown in the interest of perception, because that is much more important than reality.

Good grief.

we need to all stay on campus today, order in for lunch to come up with a new plan and new aliases, apparently our cover has been blown. We can meet in our secret conference room at the Crum Center

Could I request that everyone stop quoting those posts in their entirety?

I have these folks on my foe list for a reason. :-)

I only want to read posts from the coaching staff, players and athletic department representatives.

Thank you.
