I wasn't clear that my post wasn't directed at this board or anyone on it. My rant is about the speculation that I doubt any SMU player was aware of, specifically mindless conference speculations in the media.. Lord knows the only place such speculation occurs is on Ponyfans.

Obviously potential distraction about conference changes are not of importance to our players and they are unaware of the rumors unless their Google search leads them to Ponyfans.

But as fans, workouts at a local waterhole does have its appeal.

i suggest practice at 1st & 10.

but to think that the general student body isn't aware of it would be short sighted. if they're talking about it, the players are. i overheard several conversations in the business school common areas last week regarding big east offers and realignment talk.

Love the Rivals suggestions. Support there helps the team for sure. But I'm just a little tired of wading through forty five posts here to find actual discussion of the team. One exception is Myrdel. That guy is funny.

Should we hold practices?

Go to atm for yell practice.

Let the dominos start to fall...

pretty sure they have plans to leave the big 12 already. They gave their chancellor the ability to act as such. there's the little detail about having an invitation somewhere. thought that was done a year ago when Mizzou planned to go to the B1G. problem was the B1G had other plans. SEC may have other plans too.

SMU has plans to be in a BCS conference.

Enjoy winning 4 games a year in the SEC Mizzou.

Mizzou: The clowns at the realignment circus. A walking joke, and they give children nightmares.

I'm giving them four wins with the assumption they will have two creampuffs for non-conference.

Big 12 is a tougher conference than the SEC right now.

Big 12 easily highest ranked conference this year in Sagarin even without Nebraska

Anybody notice that we're still ranked second in CUSA in Sagarin, though USM just moved ahead of us -- and rightly so -- in the predictor rankings.

Interesting I think this is the first time that CUSA has ever been above the MWC (barely) in the Sagarin ratings(Central Mean) -often its been behind the WAC too. MWC still ahead in Simple calculation
