You do realize we have to qualify for the big east tourney at MSG and not every team automatically makes it? We probably wont see the big east tourney for 3 years

My mistake, I believe last year was the first year all 16 teams played in the BET

I thought the same but looking at last year's bracket, all 16 schools played. I guess they changed it recently.

Give Cinci a try. The river, the hills, the trees and an amazing number of places to get some terrific beer (not that I would know). It really is a great place. As a bonus, I know a nice church to come to after a SMU win.

First, the Big East Championship for basketball was changed recently to allow all teams to participate (start making your plans for NYC now!!).

Also, my recommendation for UConn is not to go to NYC and drive (you have have other opportunities to be in NYC), but instead go to Boston, which is closer. UConn is only like 1 1/2 hours from Boston and it's a very interesting and fun (albeit cold) city!!!!

Forgot about the Aquarium. Actually, the whole Levee in Newport KY is a nice place to hang out and get great views of the Queen City.

During the hoops schedule you get to add Providence, DC, South Bend and Chicago. Not bad choices either. In the east, clearly UConn-Rutgers give you NYC every other year. Navy gives you DC every four years. USF/UCF gives you Florida every other year.

I think Hartford-Springfield,Ma share Bradley International Airport. Not sure how many daily flights from D/FW to Bradley. It would be the closest to UCONN, unless you just don't want to stay in Hartford.

I dont know what y'all are smoking, but Hartford is the definition of a [deleted] hole. One of the most dangerous and empoverished cities in the US. It's also impossible to get to by train, unlike Rutgers. For Rutgers you can stay in the city and take a train from Penn Station that takes less than an hour. I agree, fly to Boston, drive to Hartford the then get the hell out. Rentschler Field is, however, a really great stadium. It's perfect.

I agree Hartford is a {deleted} hole, but what do you consider New York City? If you have ever been to the Bronx or Brooklyn, those are {deleted} holes too.

Pretty dang close to Park City though. And Moab. And Arches and Canyonlands, about 10 other national parks.

I was lucky enough to play in a game at BYU. A great setting with in the mountains.

I go to the city once a year anyway around new years.

If the Ponies make the PinStripe bowl I would be down for that trip since it would probably work with NYE Phish @ the Garden. The weather would certainly suck balls but its not like its nice in Dallas on NYE.

Ive never been to Boise even during the WAC years..I doubt I would go see SMU there unless it happened to fall on a vacation in Idaho. I hate Colorado Springs relative to other places in Braharado.

Honestly my favorite Venue in CUSA/Big East is Robertson. Great easy road trip and its easy for me to hate Cougar High. Ive gone every time Tulsa has played there. If there is no conflict with Tulsa home games or if it falls on the barnburner Tulsa/UAB/Memphis/Tulane who gives a flying F home game. Ill probably go to that game with giddyup.

Ive always wanted to go to a UCF home game. I hate myself for not going to Tulsa/UCF this thursday since it will be the last game we play there. That said Id probably go see SMU there.

Rutgers is a sh--thole, east hartford is awful, never been to Louisville and am not that interested in going, could care less about Cincy, Could care less about a USF game.
