i am hearing that we will be lucky to hear AFA's position before the end of the season.

AFA General likes to be the center of attention. Pentagon gave AFA permission to leave last week. Navy is waiting on this guy to make the move so they can join together. Nick will back me up on this one. A game with SDSU would help in our west coast recruiting as we need a game there every other year.

fwiw, i am very close to a number if peeps in the blue-silver AFA club and am very active in discussions out there. (i went to AFA and SMU) i am hearing this still needs to pass the SEC of AFA. there was a chance it was "maybe" discussed at this week's CORONA conference at USAFA during Army week but unlikely still. again, ppl i know very, very close to the program are saying don't expect anything until the end of the season. if BYU jumps, it would be nuts for AFA not to come along. i still believe (as do most others in the "know") AFA goes to BE.

If the AFA SEC has the superintendent on the board then we are talking the same thing as he is the holdup. Pentagon was pretty quick in giving Navy and AFA the green light to move. General Gould should make his decision to join (like the Navy superintendent has already done a while back) by the end of the week or get left behind IMO.

I have a COX MBA and go to more Pony games than half of the people on this board.

I happen to think the Big East thing is the most ridiculous thing on the planet. The fact that you guys are all circle jo'ing off over SDSU just reinforces that point to me.

If dumbs are going to poke fun of a better program for solely being in a small media market Im going to continue to point at dumb people that are chest pumping the program that has historicly been a power bottom in CUSA over the big bad dallas market.

Its just gay. Media markets rule...but oh wait we want that Boise media market. You guys are funny.
