I have some good buds from BC

Brother in law lives in Bellingham, WA (which is closer to Vancouver than Seattle). I'd give everything SMT has to live there, really anywhere from BC down to mid-Oregon.

Oh, and the Green Flash is a cool place in San Diego.

Bellingham is absolutely beautiful. It really is the Pacific NW in a nutshell.

BTW, if you haven't done it (and if you've spent any time up in that area I can't imagine that you haven't), take the ferry over to Bainbridge Island. The ride out from Seattle is spectacular and once you get there its just otherwordly how beautiful it is.

Perfect day in San Diego:

- Wake up and grab breakfast at The Broken Yolk
- Zoo
- Black's Beach for sunset
- Dinner and drinks in La Jolla


okay...I might have to openly endorse SDSU now.

Just a sidenote to my Victoria BC trip:

I was there while the Canucks were in the Stanley Cup playoffs and that place was the craziest sports scene I've ever been a part of. We left prior to their Game 7 defeat (thank God), but talk about some passionate, dedicated, and LOUD fans!

San Diego is great. We went for a week last feb. Stayed on Coronado.

In other news, efforts out of Austin, Texas to royally pi$$ off all of the Longhorn haters out there are full steam ahead. I would just LOVE to see this one go down. LHN effect spreads. ESPN wins again?
