the only thing I think they could have thrown that flag for was helmet to helmet. Even that would have been iffy.

But that's not to say that McCoy wouldn't have busted a 30 yard run at that point either.

Officiating was crappy all night. The phantom horse collar amongst others.

that play was very similiar to the 310 pound UT Defensive Lineman running full speed and bumping Tannyhill at the sideline. He didn't hit Tannyhill they just bumped both running full speed.

I seem to rember when aggie played Nebraska on that vey same field aggie got lots a calls their way when nebraska was on their way out the door

Maybe Tannehill had Romo/Simpson syndrome??

Texas does not have experience at QB but the end of last night's game was a vast improvement over the final series versus K State just 5 days earlier. On the ground, Texas has incurred a number of injuries. Fozzy, Bergeron, & Brown make for a stout lineup of backs. They have struggled lately as basically none played vs. Mizzou (FW out for season in 1st Q) and only Brown played vs K state and Aggies, I believe. Trade Fozzy for Gray and Texas just continues to get better.

Watching that defense is scary - they get better every game. I would look for the Longhorns to continue to improve on offense as well.

Texas got screwed over by the refs the past two games on game changing plays...you're reaching

btw Texas also got a bad call on the horse collar call where Texas defender actually grabbed jersey at name level not the collar
