I wouldn't mind hiring his offensive coordinator away...

IMO- JJ hardly inherited a plethora of great players when he got here. Depth has always been an issue. Not many teams lose the number of experienced players that we will lose this year and not feel some effect.

So, you want to replace Klemm, Reinebold and Mason with an inexperienced ' up and comer' and a few ' old timers'. Not sure that is a good solution. Look at what happened to our soccer programs when we replaced experienced coaches with 'budget' grade coaches that didn't have top level experience.
You mentioned we couldn't get Patrino or U. Meyer- that still leaves 18 top coaches we could approach. I am not for downgrading our coaching staff and that is what we would be doing.

GO PONIES!!!

Amazing that you are the same guy who flips out after losses and during game threads...

Get some consistency...

I dont want to fire AK, in fact I would consider giving him the job....

I just want guys that work their asz off, this staff for the most part, doesn't

I can tell you that while Matt Doherty's stay has been a failure, I actually believed he wanted to be here for the right reasons.

Call it just a getting a vibe on people.

Thanks for proving how big of a f--king tool you are as you use Doherty in your argument against June. Next maybe you'll tell us that we should run the program more like minnesota's abortion of a football program.

I thought you put me on foe. Guess not or you couldn't resist and had to open the comment. Be cosnsistent buddy.

Yep, and when I am at games I stand up and yell. So what? I happen to be passionate about my team. I also hate it like hell when they lose.

When we throw an interception do you just sit back and say 'oh my'? Me? I get p!$$ed when we make mistakes. I strive for perfection and believe that my team should as well.

GO PONIES!!!

I am shocked at the stupidity of the ASU posters. They are giving all of us internet "know-it-alls"a bad rap...saying June had a bad defense and great offense and had recruited well when in actuality he has only recruited one offensive guy from high school in the last four years who has made any kind of impact and it has been an ongoing battle to keep him eligible! Remember that 7 of the 11 offensive starters are former coach Bennett recruits and Beasley was a Bennett commit. Line is a star but he came toSMU as LB on friend recommendation! McDermott a transfer/Shawnbrey a transfer. Shocking. On the other hand they have done a great job bringing in defensive players. Makes you wonder? Is it the offensive coaches, particularly wr and qb and/or the r and s offense?

It's basically Mason outcoaching Jones, the QB guru hasn't developed a legit QB yet and it's hindered his ability to run the R&S effectively (nothing wrong with the offense itself, looked fine at Hawaii).

The solution is obvious. Re-hire Bennett.

But schools love to hire coaches with one conference championship in the WAC in 13 seasons of coaching.

i think he stays and hope he does. But it aint that big a deal if he leaves - there are lots of choices and we are a great job for any number of candidates out there.
