People familiar with the situation told the Chronicle that there has been zero contact between Arizona State and Sumlin.
Probably means there's been 100% contact between ASU and Sumlin's agent.
Exactly. No one ever talks directly to the coach.

Reminds me of the Ohio State situation when Urban Meyers said that no contract had been offered and a few days later he accepts the job. He is gone.

KTP doesn't need to worry. cougar high along with the Mustangs will be moving to the BE and no longer playing tiny tulsa town.
Hope the left overs in cusa enjoy the stiff competition from schools like rice, tulane and the bottom feeders of the mwc.
GO PONIES!!!

If Jason Philips takes over the Coogs could keep rolling. By the way KTP, does anyone want Tulsa's HC?

You guys are much to high on Sumlin. The dude has like a 2-7 record without Casey Keenum. It would be better for you guys if Houston kept him and Keenum graduates.

He beat us with a 3rd string freshman QB. Also when Keenan went down last year about 4 or 5 defensive starters went down as well and he still beat us at on our home turf. He also beat USM's Larry Fedora with that team I believe. So the man can coach even though you try to discredit him.

I dont know. Hes a native Tulsan, a TU grad, coached Union HS for 10+ years and is pretty much married to the community. He has one year as a HC so I doubt hes on anyones radar. Then again Chad Morris had one year as an OC and hes at Clemson now.
Who knows.

Well, good players make coaches good. Bad players make coaches bad.
