From what I understood, he will be but he has to compete with Padron unless Padron is hurt and is taking more time off.

why would I be concerned about this? But the point is if he comes under the post graduate rule he still only gets one more year(unless possibly he was hurt again in the coming year like our Syracuse post grad)

I don't know his graduation status-other main requirement is that you are only eligible if new school offers a major which is not offered at previous school. Don't know that either.

Mack Brown said staff will meet Sunday to discuss, among other things, whether to bring in older QB. Didn't rule it out.

UT just got two JUCOs-they haven't had 2 in a decade-only sporadically have they signed any

Texas made a huge mistake pushing Gilbert out the door. The other 2 QBs were plain horrible (even though McCoy beat A&M). Now that Jones has shown his true colors, I understand that Gilbert may re-enroll at UT. Mack says they will take him back.
