There is a reason this was tweeted by the agent.
The agent didn't say anything about his client's position, but the other side's position, so I don't know if there was a breach of confidences or fiduciary duty.
Steinberg is smart and there is a reason he did what he did, and I'd bet my last dollar that Jones approved the disclosure.
Perhaps it's revenge on ASU, trying to make ASU look like the bad guys?

Agreed there's a reason Steinberg posted this.
May not be a client confidence, per se; but there has to be motivation for his posting this. And I suspect it amounts to more than venting from a frustrated agent. I think that Jones approved the message and that they're posturing.
I have a feeling Jones' departure is still a done deal. Perhaps there were some surprises from SMU and its legal counsel, and now Steinberg et al are working it?
