Yeah, right.

what does he owe us?

June has done more good for this program than harm. One bad weekend has resulted in NOTHING BAD YET. You're whining and no bad consequences have actually taken place.

Wait until there is actually something bad and then let's compare to all the good things he has done for SMU and this program like 3 consecutive bowl games, improved academic standards for athletes, improved facilities for athletes, etc.

what recruits did we lose? name them.
what respect did our school have that he didn't give to this program?
yes, I would have liked him here for an important weekend of recruiting, but what recruit that was here said I was going to SMU, but now I'm not because of this? name the recruit.
a couple players are upset? this is a business. it is probably the first time they have been exposed to the business side of sports. they will learn.

Face it, most people on here are 16 year old girls who will never forgive this guy for making out with the captain of the cheerleading squad.

like he did it on purpose. he leaked nothing. others did. he had an opportunity. he explored it. modern media exploited it. it sucks for all those involved.

PT Barnum is attributed with saying, any publicity is good publicity. We just got tons of it. The Ticket talked about us more in the last week than they ever would have for just a Big East announcement. glad someone cares enough.

Go read the SMU football blog regarding Thomas Brown and Khalil Pettway

Talk to people in the know about what was going on over the time period - Jones began recruiting to ASU and against SMU while employed by SMU

I don't fault Jones for looking for other jobs, or interviewing with ASU. I don't even care about the timing of his interview. But if we allow a man who actively recruited against us while under our employ to continue to be in a leadership position at our institution of higher education, we should all go and start stripping for a living because we've obviously lost our dignity and self-respect.

They signed with ASU?

Brown committed to ASU the night before the June to ASU story broke. He was between SMU and Nebraska before that. Then he suddenly committed to a school with no coach. Since all this mess has gone down, he is now committed to Nebraska

I believe the Pettway story said it was a mutual decision between him and the staff for him to decommit. I have no idea what that means.

I saw the commit change on Brown but haven't totally bought into it. He was not a lock before.

Didn't understand the pettway thing before. Still don't know what it means now.

Mutual decision means "we're going in another direction now, but we'll let you save face and decommit so that it doesn't look like our opinion on you has soured."
