What exactly is this guy's job description? Klemm was OL coach and recruiting coord. Is that what this guy is going to do, or what? That is what I would like to know.

We need somebody with Texas street cred to do recruiting. Very simple. Ex-pro would be great if you can find one. I think some of the cougar high coaches might work out well. Seems like none of them are going to get the HC job.

I'm just glad we found something else to [deleted] about on the board.
He's old, lazy, just here for a paycheck, can't coach, can't recruit. Man, you guys love throwing out the hate. Would love to see what you guys are like in the real world. I will agree boring hire, does nothing for me. But can we hold off on the old, lazy, etc. comments. Let's see how he does first. Let's argue that there were more exciting guys to hire not make personal attacks on someone that 99% of us have never met.

ED4L- no hate here. I am just hoping that we will get a 'shock and awe' hire to replace
AK. BTW- I actually didn't think AK was that good of a coach but his recruiting and enthusiasm made up for a lot of shortcomings. IIRC- JJ said he may not even make a hire until after the signing date in Feb.

RedPony - Agreed.

Well some said that we would just get someone better at recruiting than AK if he left so I guess we will see.

and then, regardless of seeing what the new hire can do here, panic.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

I think what some have said is let's wait and see who they hire before hitting the panic button.
Some have also said in threads that since we have the money we would just go get someone better.
