Arriving Friday with 2 friends from Illinois. Driving to Mobile after the game on Saturday and going to the godaddy.com bowl (NIU vs Arkansas State) on Sunday. Good friend of mine from SMU is from Dekalb (where NIU is located), so pretty cool that they are playing on consecutive days in the same state.

Two of us are flying out Thursday on Southwest and staying at the Sheraton where the team is staying. 14 more in our group are joining us Friday morning (3 from Alabama) to stay at Sheraton. We plan to go to SMU Pep Pally Friday night and the SMU Tailgate Saturday 9:30-11:30. Followed by AN SMU VICTORY...and then celebrating probably at 5 Points. Then fly to DFW on AA leaving at 5:35 pm. Sounds: Priceless. Our group is getting pumped for an SMU win and a lot of fun!!! I hope a lot of you that are undecided will go ahead and make the trip...it might be one of the easiest Bowl games to attend outside of Texas. Our guys need our support. A Road trip sounds like fun too.

my traveling party is 2, and have "strong interest" that it will be 4 by Wednesday

Just got a call from a fellow PF ( Bucket Head) , who is booking today for 3 at the Sheraton and leaving on Thursday by car. 100 now....
