Wow, sounds like you had an even better time than most! :D I'm really bummed I couldn't make the trip out this year, but really want to try and make it next year. Great way to end the year!

Had an unbelievable time in Birmingham. It's close, easy to get to and relatively inexpensive. The people there were really nice and welcoming, the food was awesome, the civil rights museum was moving and the the hiking (mini-mountains outside of town) was gorgeous. You could feel the history in Legion Field ... and we crushed Pitt, which hasn't scored a touchdown on us in more than 28 years!

man, i can't believe DD rocked that jersey. greatness. i saw him yesterday and he said that active phis were coming up showing him photos of him being texted all around.
