I know Jstang. I was poking fun at all the guys who said the decommitts from us were unloyal and not men of their word, but want to poach UH recruits and label them as diehard mustangs. I find most of this comical.

that is most excellent news. a few decommits aside, the big picture improved mightily over the past few days with the showing in Bham (team and fans)and now this.

Impressive hire, hopefully he ends up as receivers coach. Need him to start poaching from Coog High ASAP so we can wrap up this class on a positive note.

The statement that I have made about every opening since Copeland left remains true. When people come on this board and shout , "Whoa is SMU; how will we ever find anyone to take this awful, awful job!?!?" My response is always that the answer will be someone better than any of us have a right to expect.
This is a quality assistant and a quality hire.
