Actually it took me less than 10 minutes to find out the SMU only has 3 players who have quality offers from other schools.

Seaver Meyers has an offer from A&M
Lincoln Richard has offers from Arkansas and Arizona
Daijuan Stewart has offers from Pitt and Arizona

Look at TCU, they have several individuals with better offers than our entire class. Case in point, Devonte Fields has offers from Michigan, Oklahoma, A&M, Mizzo and Arizona.

I haven't taken a look yet, but that would be a significant drop off from the last two classes.

What Big East coaching staffs is our coaching staff better than? Since we are in The Big East that is who this class and others to come will be competing against. So name the coaching staffs in The Big East that ours is better than?

At talent evaluation, yes, we are equal or better than other staffs. Case in point, we beat the crap out of a Pitt team who had every class except last year ranked significantly ahead of ours. Our talent evaluators were better than theirs.

Pitt only had 4 full time coaches and lost their best player to injury when we beat them. And with Todd Dodge calling the plays we had an advantage right there. Now name some teams in the Big East with full coaching staffs that we are better talent evaluators and tell me how you know?

Well, I will say Coach Mason will be the best DC in the Big East. AND he is a lot better than the DC at Big 12 Baylor. :D

That's BS and the information isn't complete and biased. Many of the recruits are so solid with SMU nd have been for some time, that they have not encouraged any offers from other D-1 programs. Check the pay-site interviews with the kids with real quotes from the recruits or their coaches.....there is more into it then what is posted here.

I wouldn't say it is totally BS. While it is true that several of our recruits have been solid from the get go and have told their coaches to not even waster their time with offers, that same thing can be said for our recruits from the previous year. The information definitely isn't complete though.

I hear what you're saying SMU86, and I don't know enough about other BE coaching staffs to compare ours so I'm not going to jump into that discussion, but remember we had OUR best player out and injured and Todd Dodge knew our scheme from Tulsa days. We ALSO had our distractions with the ASU thing. I think our team speed is improving and will give many of these BE teams fits - THAT's ultimately why we beat PITT (speed!): DJ on O and T-reed/others on D ...
