Abe Lemons, the old UT basketball coach for you youngsters, used to talk about how stupid Deloss was. Dodds started out as a track coach at Kansas State. Abe said any idiot can coach track: "Just tell the runners to keep making left turns."
Love Abe Lemons. Saw him interviewed during halftime of a televised UT/Tech game. The announcer asked him what UT needed to do in the second half to win the game? He stated, in a very matter of fact tone, "score more points than they do" and walked off. The announcer was speechless. Classic
