Glad that we don't play tough schools like ULM and SHSU. Maybe we should go to the sunbelt conf. :P

Why not, we're already recruiting like one of them.

Much as I'd like to jump on the gloom and doom mobile, it needs to be pointed out that with a little better execution we would have been close in the Baylor game. We put up 500 yards and 24 points. ULM put up 600 and 42 but they got a jump earlier in the game that we were unable to execute.

If anything, the ULM game shows how nearly competitive we made the game.

I would think it shows exactly how inept our O is.

Our o is the problem. But until we give them some more games it isn't useful to suggest that we will remain this bad.

Having watched several games of each team the difference between SMU and ULM is one position: QB.

They have one who plays out of his mind running and throwing.

SMU is trying to break one in and has consistency issues.

If QB can get settled SMU's D is every bit as good as ULM's if not better. More conservative scheme but still good. O has to get going so they don't run out of gas though.

Yes, I suggest we give them at least 8 or 9 games.

Actually, they had two playing at the same time and both looked better than our starter.

thos who look down on the Sun Belt haven't been paying attention. ULM and WKU have put together some pretty competitive football teams. And we thought USM was one of CUSA's more competitive teams. CUSA is REALLY weak this year
