I wish we can flash forward to the future when June is gone and we know he'll be taking the reigns from here.

Imagine having this kind of fire on our sidelines:

Point is?..they lost 7 games and only won 6 for a losing record......not a great win in a bowl for the record books (skyscraper has a pic of the final score)

Your point was we suck because we only beat a losing team in our bowl game. Kinda hard to make the point we suck when we're the cause of their having a losing season.

We beat a 6-6 team, great retort.

Yeah, too bad about that. He could have been their problem right now.

1st half- the wide receivers were at fault for the most ridiculous drops, seriously I thought we recruited soccer players who thought touching the ball would get them a penalty.
3rd quarter- mostly GG idiotic throws, still dropping
4th quarter- probably just big mess where we could have gotten the two TDs we needed.

What happen consistently, JJ crap play calls, and our defense that deserved to hold the iron skillet and won't be next year...

Are you JJs nephew or something? I dont understand how you constantly support June. If you're a true SMU fan and want our team to succeed, you would want June gone.

And Pitt was horrible last year in the bowl game. They were without their head coach and had a lot of missing players. Their O-line was one of the FBS leaders in sacks allowed.

I think this sums up exactly how other teams view SMU's offense:

"TCU sophomore linebacker Joel Hasley said, 'They gave us what we thought they were going to give us and we went out there and played good [sic].'"

Too effing predictable.

Every other team in the country goes under center from the one yard line until the ball is in the end zone or you turn it over on downs. Maybe, MAYBE, on second or third down you try a play action pass to the flat. But I guess that only works when you have tight ends.... Fact is, Gilbert didn't have time to throw the ball because the routes take so freaking long to develop, AND THEY ONLY HAVE ONE YARD TO GAIN!!

So frustrating I couldn't even talk to my wife about it last night. I would have thrown something through the window.

That one series should be enough to wrap up JJ's career at SMU. But it won't be, because we will slaughter the sheep that make up C-USA and somehow make it to a 14th game.

I have always been a JJ supporter and have given him the benefit of the doubt over and over.

That series may have gotten me over the top. Z Line four times up the middle would have me thinking "at least we ran our best play". A sack on the 11 did not.

YES!!!

Your best play with your best player. Zach will find a way, he always does. Half of his career touchdowns would have been short to no gains for the majority of other running backs. Just look at his touchdown last night, he's a bull.

Not only run the ball, but run the ball out of "run" formation with extra blockers, a full back........like a normal, sensible team would do.
