I'd prefer that we didn't allow them either. If you don't want to get wet, then leave OR better yet, move high up in the stadium so that you are less likely to block anyone's view with your oversized patio table umbrella for God's sake! My wife & I came decked out in rain gear, and could't see around any of the 10 or so huge umbrellas blocking our view and half the people I didn't recognize and I've had the same seats for 7 years now.
I think it was 3 years ago when we played at Amon Carter in a driving rain. They enforced their umbrella policy and the place was still packed out.
