It was enough trouble just to stream our damn game over the internet, so I'm sure they thought it'd be easier/safer/more convenient to just throw up the good audio from a national broadcast.
But yes, I'd like to know if the game is free online for us as well..

It definitely won't be free on the official SMU Mustangs All Access, will have to do the monthly or yearly subscription.
However, several foreign websites grab the exact same feed and stream it for free. If your anti virus software is up to date, it works just as good.
Technically, illegal to pirate the feed in that way, but it has happened for years and continues to happen.
On game day, I am sure several will post the free links, but if you want to be a straight laced mustang fan and do it by the book, you will have to Pony Up $9.95. and then cancel after football season, since this will come up a couple of more times....

I have Direct TV, I can get every game Liberty U plays but not SMU, what is wrong with that picture?

vipbox or firstrowsports usually have the game. i live abroad so online streaming is my only option. only game that was unavailable so far this season was the SFA game

plus the UTEP radio announces suck.

it may be listed on the guide, but that doesn't mean it's a channel available in this market.

I found it on the Direct TV guide for Saturday. It is the Bay Area Comcast Sports Channel and it is HD. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.
