He's patronizing anyone who takes him semi-seriously.

I'm just not sure how the various sports books get their odds.
Combined score of at least 60 points, with a spread of 6-6.5 points.

That means a final score: SMU 27, UH 33.
With the exception of SFA, we have yet to score 27 points in a game.

We had a good D (overall). However, the Tulane showing + injuries makes things problematic.
What happened to UTEP D?!

Despite all that, I really want SMU to bring home the bacon.

Listen, I just don't think this team is as dead as others make it out to be. I really do think Houston is a litmus test, though. Be interesting to see how we respond.

You know that I know that you're far more reasonable than some on this board want to paint you to be. But after the Tulane loss, 7 wins would require us to be 5-1 the rest of the way including wins vs. at least two of UCF, Tulsa, and Houston. So it would be the prediction of the century if you turn out to be right.

FYI, If you have anyone that wants to go to the game beyond your amount of tickets, I have no one using my tickets as of right now. PM me and I can get you those tickets.

It's one day before the game and I haven't seen a single 95-21/Pardee/Jenkins rant this week. Obviously you guys have used up all of your anger at your own coach and have nothing left over.

I hope my Coogs win tomorrow, but after that I hope you guys get it back together. You deserve better from a coach being paid that much.

moving together to Big East means we need more depth of hate is required. Can't leave UH as a one hate wonder in a legit conference together, much like the "CUSA" tag, it would make us both look bad.

Houston is not Houston 2011, I don’t care how well they played the last 3 games or how well the new QB is doing … he is not CK. Yea I know, we are not SMU 2011. There are plenty of other treads currently active to jump on what I’m about to say.

1) Offense and GG has shown good/steady improvement every game and certainly the last 2-3 IMO. Long sustained drives, time of possession, better throws, less drops etc. We have stalled in the Red Zone .. success there would have made the last 3 games different. But, we still have shown some improvement there. I say we break that obstacle this time enough to put points on the board.
2) Just need the "D" to play like they have, minus the 1st half of Tulane. Which I think was being flat as a result of playing Tulane. No excuse, but we see it all the time in sports. Playing the hurry-up … we have had a lot of game time practice with this so far this season… and I don’t think we are as bad as most think on the board. All D’s struggle with this, that’s why the run the offense. We have some young guns in the secondary, so that will be a challenge. I think the front 7 can create some chaos (they need to), and I think they can stuff the run, which Houston wants to establish.

Prediction … close game, and a SMU victory.

If we beat them every once in a while maybe there would be more hate. We haven't exactly taken them out behind the shed over the last 20 years.

Is Houston the Houston of 2010? That 5-7 team won 45-20. It is the same QB except instead of being a true freshman in his 3rd game, he's now a redshirt sophomore.

Kind of sad that the 2012 SMU QB isn't playing as well as the 201 SMU QB.
