Scout is assigning 4 stars to Shead so our first official 4 star committed in this class (puts us at #54 there). However, Rivals doesn't even have him listed nor do they even have Barns in their system. What is the star rating of Barns?

Barns is a 2 star on Scout, the Rivals guys said about a week ago that they'd get a profile for him ASAP.

Traylon Shead had a big game in Navarro's blowout victory over NEO yeaterday in the SWJCFC Championship rushing 17 times for 129 yards and added a catch for 13 yards. He'll play in 1 more game in a bowl not yet named

I guess Barnes is a nice recruit but Highland park has not done great offensively this year especially running the ball. I know Barnes can't do it all by himself but it makes you wonder how good he is.

always a positive when Rivals doesn't even have a profile on your new recruit.

Found some video of Traylon Shead from his first game in his JUCO career back in August. Note the similiarity in Offensive scheme. Should be relatively smooth transition scheme wise. A lot different running style than Line-has the ability to run and slide to daylight across the line of scrimmage not unlike Shawnbrey McNeal

4.5 40, yes he is definitely faster than Line.

He is a breakaway threat on any part of the field. Kind of like Shawnbrey was but bigger.

I'm definately looking forward to seeing him play next year as a Mustang. Running back just doens't seem to be a position where we are lacking every year.
