To make me cry in my beer some more - it was worse for me, I've been beaten by the Aggies twice this year. What could be worse? Oh well, have to settle for the Sugar Bowl.

Good guess. He sounded way too excited about it to be calling an SMU game!sbsmith wrote:PA guy must be an alumDanFreibergerForHeisman wrote:Why in the hell did they announce this score at our game last night?

To bad this is not happening at Missouri. In fact, the opposite might be happening at Missouri.Topper wrote:They were wise to sever ties with Big 12 and with Manziel starting 3 more years they will be the marquee team from the State of Texas. This win gives them exposure and a recruiting advantage over everyone else in the state, and it makes UT's pathetic excuses for cancelling their longstanding series look even more pathetic. This is also an example of how competing in the top conference automatically raises your program's esteem.gostangs wrote:This is their biggest win ever. it solidifies their position in the conference, shuts up all the UT yapping about how they were going to be dog meat forever in the SEC - and sets them on a trajectory to be within the top two or three team in the SEC year in and out. THey are now the dominant team in texas without question - which means they win a ton of recruiting wars. If you are in Tx, want to play at the highest level and play in the NFL you now hope to go to A&M.
Unfortunately, I'll never forget the Tulane loss. I've tried. Just poking some fun at some of the people on here that scream for his head after every loss. And lately, after every win.Rebel10 wrote:Junior wrote:That's it! JJ loses to a team that beats the #1 team on their field? He has to go now!
Again, it is not that he lost it is how he lost. I guess on your sarcasm you forgot the Tulane loss. JJ is going to destroy a very very bad USM but has not beaten many good teams.
Lol who's screaming?Junior wrote:Unfortunately, I'll never forget the Tulane loss. I've tried. Just poking some fun at some of the people on here that scream for his head after every loss. In SWC days it helped us with the pollsters. Now a victory by another Texas team just makes recruiting that much more difficult.sbsmith wrote:gostangs wrote:we should always be for teams from texas when they play teams from outside of Texas - unless its TCU.
Why, what does them winning do for us exactly?
