Did you see those empty seats in the end zone? Those would not have been empty if they had played the ags. The aggies are getting the last laugh this year.

Texas plays just like SMU - no passion when everything isnon the line.
SMU looked listless agains Rice as did TEXAS tonight. Both teams were playing must win games and they looked horrible.
Thus, both teams can expect similar results next year unless a coaching change is made.

TCU's victory tonight guarantees them a winning record, so that means JJ is 4-23 lifetime here at SMU against team with winning records.
2-12 against OOC
2-11 against C-USA
Up next Tulsa. Hopefully JJ can reverse the current trend of 5 consecutive C-USA losses against teams with winning records. As down as I am on JJ, still want this team to go bowling.

Agreed and worse, we are actually moving farther away, not getting closer.

About a decade ahead
Guess again buddy. You are delusional if you think tcu is only 10 years ahead of us. On our current course, we are on a pace to never achieve their success.

June Jones has not recruited a single class better than Dennis Franchione after 6-5 season in the WAC in 1998.

I wouldn't expect you all to be happy about it but I love seeing UT lose...of course it was extra sweet because it was TCU and I saw it in person. Aside from notre dame, there is no one I pull against more than the Horns. Good luck against Tulsa!

Reed, While I hate for TCU to win on the big stage, it sure is sweet for Texas to lose on turkey day or any other day for that matter. Can't wait to watch the highlights in the LHN.

Reedfrawg, we've found a common interest - a purpose for which we can all come together, lay aside our petty differences- and beat UT.
Just don't do it too often or you'll be under investigation.

UT has nothing at DT, OL, and LB. Their talent evaluation is incredibly poor, especially considering they have their pick of who they want.
When was the last time UT had a game breaking receiver?
TCU played young, and the young players were much better than UT's.
There is a lot of talk in austin about missed tackles, and poor coaching. You know how missed tackles happen? The defensive players aren't as athletic as the opposing team's offensive players, and the players they go against in practice are not as athletic.
I think Mack has next year to fix things. The OL and DL recruited by the new coordinators will be in their third year (redshirt so), and should be contributing. If that doesn't fix things, MB will be asked to retire.

the regents should pressure Deloss to retire. that is where their problems start.

Everyone likes to make fun of Patterson, but you have to admit the guy can coach. TCU was much better coached then the whorns. Nice win TCU.

How does Kent State get into the top 25 and we cannot beat Tulane or Rice?
