The funny thing is, I remember when June was hired SMU people would wear Hawaiian shirts, leis, etc.

Everybody totally bought into the Hawaii thing.

For the first Hawaii Bowl, I took pineapple and macadamia nuts to our family watching party.

It's amazing, how just three calendar years later, SMU people are just sick to death of everything Hawaii...

Ugh. Basically the Hawaii bowl is worst then no bowl so we deserve better than the Hawaii bowl. Just another way to say the Hawaii bowl sucks

I threw this out to somebody at the Tulsa game. I think Nike would give this to us. It would be a pretty nice look.

Our colors are red and blue. I get that, but I have no issue with throwing out something different once a season: black uniforms, chrome helmets, red helmets, blue helmets, etc.

I note lots of schools don't list black as a school color, but they roll it out. I don't see why people think we are so special.

I would prefer chrome helmet to black uniforms. More unique

Hey 1992 I couldn't agree more! I always liked the stripes that we had with the space between the blue and the red.... I thought we had some of the classiest uniforms, especially the blue ones, but truth be told I actually like the red ones as well, just wish that we could alternate between red and blue for home games. Hate our new uniforms this season, hope they make some changes by next season... Not that it's going to alter my fanhood, but would atleast like to be the best dressed....
