Academics is all you can try to use which doesn't even work anymore since our academics are getting better and better along with being awarded Tier I status.

Now if only you guys could be good at sports without cheating. Lol @ you guys being proud of 6-6 just like those losers at Rice.

UH Bauer business school isn't a pushover, at least the grad program.

Yeah, I typically agree, but you come on our board and act like an [deleted], what do you expect?

I don't go over to the UH boards and talk [deleted], I have better things to do with my time, like post on PonyFans at 10pm on a Friday night.

i agree that academic smack talk is lame - however if you think UH is even anywhere near the same universe as SMU academically you are on crack. Please point out which third party ranking service has us even close. Thats right...none of them.

oh and i think we beat you by like a 100 in football. I lost count.

Don't post much but took this from the csnbbs.com area. This is about as good as we could expect if the ACC blows up. This is what Hart is working towards. PAC will never invite us because of our religious affiliation. Need to add one more and it becomes- best of the rest.

Actually, it's not.

72-42.

Just in case you're wondering, that means we had more points than you. Somebody at your university of budding Rhodes Scholars should be able to grab a calculator and discern whether or not you won or not. Get back to me on that after your shift, or perhaps after you're done discovering the God Particle, whichever comes first.

It's a legitimate question. Do we get anything in addition to athletics from the new conference? Athletic conferences have started sharing resources along academic lines as well, and you are, especially in academic circles, judged by your company. It's worth wondering about.

We could do much, much worse than that. If SMU ends up in a conference with Miami, BC, and Pitt when it's all said and done, I'll be happy

You mean the one where we go to the big 12, big 10, PAC 10, sec or acc? I think I've seen all those scenarios laid out this week

"Need to add one more and it becomes- best of the rest" -- I only see 14 schools listed.

If Georgia Tech and UNC take the 15th and 16th slots in the B1G and NC State and Virginia Tech go to the SEC, where does Virginia go?
