Great idea to get micro-brews and local businesses involved. Serving beer (of course combining with winning is a must) would definitely bring in some of the young adults who go straight from the Boulevard to Milo's, etc.

Advertising this new micro-brew theme could also attract Dallasites to the stadium that have no ties to SMU.
Whether you care about SMU or not having a few good micro-brew beers at a football game on a sunny fall day is a pretty attractive way to spend a Saturday. Unless you are Alyssa (Baylor troll) of course.

Selling beer in our stadium was one of the greatest decisions we have ever made. So I don't know what you guys are waiting for.

Apparently we're either a bunch of prudes or completely willing to close our eyes to innovative ways to improve the gameday experience and connect w/ a vibrant, local business community. Take your pick.

Greatness. Love the local/craft angle. Sell beer and you'd probably get a lot of drinkers coming into the game before they got sloshed (I cast stones now but used to be one of the drunks myself).

Just received the email about the upgrades to Ford. Some of the seating is now going to be indoor/outdoor. Wonder what the beer policy will be for these suites that allow indoor and outdoor access...
