No, nfl network didn't cover it at all. They were all about mark Sanchez and geno smith.

I hope someone posts video of the ESPN coverage. Switching the broadcast to ESPN 2 mid-show messed up my TiVo recording, and I doubt I'm the only one who missed the pick

Hey guys. So how happy should I be about this pick?
I do not know too much about Bengals, what do I need to know?

I won my fantasy football league with the Bengals defense last year... Lots of pick sixes and sacks towards the end of the year.... kind of reminds me of another defense I saw at the collegiate level last year! :D

you should be happy because one of your countrymen just got drafted pretty high. it's probably less about learning about the Bengals, than the real test of seeing how he performs in training camps and eventually in actual games. so, the next step is tracking his progress in the next few months. various blogs will document highlights of training camp and the progress of players, especially newly drafted ones. here's one that outlines the 2013 schedule for the Bengals:

Great quote from Coach Zimmer:
“When you watch the tape, it’s not all the time, but there’s flashes where you say, ‘Wow!’” defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer said. “We’ve just got to point him in the right direction.”

From DMN most of which is rehash: http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/college-sports/headlines/20130426-smu-de-margus-hunt-officially-goes-from-olympic-hopeful-to-nfl-draftee-as-cincinnati-bengals-pick-him-in-second-round.ece

Hunt is the poor man's Ziggy Ansah (drafted No. 5 overall by the Detroit Lions). Cincinnati is the perfect spot for a raw talent with immense physical skills because of coordinator Mike Zimmer. No one coaches up pass rushers better.

I gotta agree. T'eo seems like Brain Bozworth all over again. Great in college with loaded talent around him but crap without loaded talent around him. And the NFL will have more Alabama like players than T'eo ever saw at the college level.

Hunt is a work in progress. I hope Cinny gives him the time to develop his skills while making use of his raw athletic skills.
