And since when the hell does anyone give a sh*t about apostrophes on here anyway?

The only reason I posted it is that you posted just yesterday criticizing someone for a typo. Like I said, I thought it was an entertaining contrast, that is all.

Difference being that came from the SMU marketing (or ticket office or something) department. I proof everything I do in a professional setting, not so much on a message board.

It's good to have standards of propriety.

If we keep landing 2 star recruits without any other offers, it'll be impossible to predict a win over a Big XII team. Our recruiting has to improve dramatically.

Am I way off base? I thought we were 1 or 2 point favorites against TTU per offshore lines???

blackoutpony wrote:I'm with couch'em. I just don't see it happening. Everyone wants to talk about gilbert being in the system for another year, well look how well that worked out at Texas. We're a subpar teeam that is reloading with a qb that throws the ball 100 mph for 5 yard throws and throws that same ball 5 feet over his recievers head. Sure he got a little better towards the end of the year, but sh*t with iceing on it is still sh*t. I see our OL as still having quite a few issues and there's a lot of inexperience all around.

And the fact that its at the Ford? Won't matter. They will be probably be just as many tech fans as us which is f*cking pathetic, but thats the reality of apathetic little shcool. At best, its a nuetral site game.

Junes teams are never ready for openers. They don't hit beforehand. Maybe if this was a week 3 game, I'd feel a little better about it, but even then I don't think it would matter. I agree that Tech is our best shot at a non Montana OOC win, but I just don't see it happening unfortunately.

Don't get me wrong, nothing would make me happier than to see gilbert playing like he did in high school, but hasn't done that for 4 freaking years. Maybe the Run n' Raid will be the next big thing. Maybe June will call draws and bubble screens every play just like always....

Texas totally changed their offensive scheme Gilbert's first full year as starter. Went away from the spread that worked so well for Colt and was similar to what Gilbert ran at Lake Travis with Morris.

How long was he even on campus before last years start?

Tuberville took half of his JUCO heavy recruiting class with him to Cincy. Tech has some offensive talent returning, but Im pretty skeptical of the staff Kingsbury put together in Lubbock. It's literally his old teammates; very little seasoning on that staff. I think Tech is in for a rough year. Much rather have JJ on the sidelines.

Should be a winnable game for the Ponies.
