soiree, to me, sounds boring, stuffy, old and uninviting.

we try so hard to be Ole Miss, it's sad.

this campaign perpetuates a bad stereotype that we need to shed before regular Dallas folk will accept SMU as the hometown team.

It does seem like we are trying to copy some things at Ole Miss like Okie State is doing certain thinks like Texas Tech.

Correct. You are fine with white until after Labor Day. And to those that say that is no longer in effect, you are wrong. So there.

I just dont see many 18 year old recruits really seeing an extraordinary soiree polo match... i mean football game as a place they want to spend their saturday afternoons in the fall.

Looks pretty good to me.

please - it is not like anyone reads that stuff anyway. its just a marketing piece. Those that are desparate to find something to complain about have found it. Congrats.

It's a legit concern regarding marketing.

It beats calling it a Weenie Roast!
