SMU v. TCU - 2012. I only lasted one quarter before heading to the sports bar to watch the rest.

Three way tie between TCU last year, UH 3 years ago, and 1972 vs Rice in the Cotton Bowl.
Cloud burst vs. Rice on NCAA national or regional TV my first year at SMU turned a 2pm game into
a night game, and had players hydroplaning 10 yards on the turf and in danger of drowning at the
bottom of a pile.

I drove with some friends to a game at Tulsa in either 2001 or 2003. The weather wasn't all that bad, except that when we left Dallas in the morning it was probably 75 so we were in shorts and t-shirts, and at kickoff in Tulsa it was about 50 and dropping. That was pretty miserable.

Wasn't there a particularly miserable weather game versus Nevada-Reno in the mid 00's? Maybe 5,000 fans? Those games all blend together now.
TCU was probably the worst at Ford, though. Slipping and falling in the mud after the game, I threw away my clothes

Worst weather conditions you could imagine. Very heavy rain coming in horizontally with winds at 25 mph and greater. As I recall, Morestadt's longest punt was roughly 12 yards.

Tulsa, 1997 - It was lightly snowing but REALLY cold. We were on a four game win streak and looking to become bowl eligible. The great Ramon Flanigan ran circles around the Hurricane Defense that day.

Go Ponies~
The TCU / SMU game last year SUCKED. Lost an iPhone in the rain and we fumbled our chances to win.

SMU at Baylor in the 90s tops that....We had a negative punt...kicked it forward perhaps 5 yards from LOS and it hit and bounced back, into the end zone, and through. The refs were so confused, it almost appeared we could get a touchback and the ball back on the 20! Instead it was ruled a safety.

ding ding ding...that would be my winner. We "almost" stayed until the bitter end, but the group I was with was begging me to throw in the towel in that 4th quarter as white water was pouring down the bleachers behind us. I think we were in the 10th row and pretty much all alone at that point.

I watched the Navy game on TV and got wet. That had to be miserable.

The 83 Cotton Bowl was brutal. A young Mom and Dad sitting in front of us had an infant with them. At halftime, Mom, who clearly didnt want to be at the game that day, insisted on going back to the family car for warmth. Dad, clearly a loyal Mustang, snatched the kid from Mom and said that the baby would stay with him because he wanted the child to be able to say that he attended the entire game. I often wonder whatever became of that child, now 30 years old!

Game would have been delayed today but things were different then.
1983, SMU won 17-0.
