I agree with what you say LH but I do hate them. They are our UT/A&M, Ohio St/Michigan type rival. I think we have a better school, in a better city and a better bball team. Football and conference affiliation is where they have us, and that's unfortunately very big

Always fun to the see the Toads lose. The quarterbacking in this game was horrendous.

You're right sbsmith, QB play was bad but all other aspects of that game were very, very good. LSU is a good QB away from being a title contender. TCU's not far behind

Should've gone for it. Nothing to lose. They barely held on to the game. Nothing good comes from giving the ball back to LSU late in the fourth.

hey, what do you know? TCU plays a marquee game and doesn't get blown out. I wonder what that feels like...

Refs kept them in the game. I counted no less than 4 first downs that should have been negated through holding penalties. Their RT was holding all game.

I liked the Pachall "winner in life" gem about completing re-hab. Also did you know he's one of the best QBs in the country? Didn't know that...

He is so good that TCU pulled him to put Boykin in to get back into the game

TCU is very good on special teams and that was a huge factors. They have superior speed on the edges on offense.

The D is very solid with very solid secondary play. They probably got beat by one of, if not the best WR in the nation and a very accurate QB.

TCU has a good team and it will be a challenge to beat them this year.

Our current coach has pretty much been Pattersons [deleted] except for one game I believe. Patterson does know what it takes to beat BCS teams and win BCS bowl games.......JJ not so much.

I didn't defend J.J., just pointing out how you always have your tongue down fattersons shorts.

TCU played well. I thought Trevone Boykin played competently and was effective.

LSU can beat any team in the Big 12 and is more talented than TCU. You have to give TCU credit for keeping it close and not getting blown out.

TCU will have to make big mistakes for SMU to beat them. They look very talented.

LSU made some boneheaded mistakes like the bad handoff inside their own 10 that kept TCU in the game. Let's not give them undue credit - LSU made plenty of unforced errors.

TCU fumbling their opening kickoff and giving it to LSU on the ten yard line might be considered an "unforced error," too, don't you think?
