The talent gap is bigger across the board. So I would expect us to be decisively beaten in any case by the Ags, particularly in College Station. Add into that the Johnny Manziel factor and we have no chance of stopping them. That guy is absolutely amazing. They just put up 42 points against the stoutest D in the nation that is stocked with NFL prospects. Aggies will score against our D at will.

About the same. A&M finished 1992 and 1993 in the 10-1 range. In eligible in 1993 for postseason bowl. Had some great teams around them. They fell asleep playing us plus we had one if the most experienced teams, albeit under talented, of all time...notwithstanding the continual upgrade in human physical accomplishment and performance

Stallion opened my eyes with his figures on game time rev alone (they have to make close to $100M/yr just in attendance . . . then you factor in TV, merchandise, partnerships, etc . . . how can you compete with that?? That's a lot of money for your player and coaching payroll / marketing, etc . . . )
TCU got good, then had a huge jump in revenue. Doesn't work the other way around.
Glad to hear you are an expert on such matters.
TCU's success is, no doubt, admirable. They also had that success in the MWC. Good for them.
I don't think it takes an "expert", just someone with half a brain to realize that tcu was a very strong program long before they had any boost in revenue... I realize they are a rival but there are some people who will try so hard to discount their success
